Things that are Excellent – Nick Vujicic

by Larry Hehn on September 27, 2012

Nick VujicicHave you ever felt that God has handed you a raw deal?

Have you ever been angry toward God for things He has allowed to happen, or questioned whether or not He even cares?

Nick Vujicic was born with no arms and no legs.

Growing up he railed against God, lamenting the thought that he would never have a job, get married, or do the things that those with limbs often take for granted.

At a very young age he even contemplated suicide, considering drowning himself in the family bathtub.

Today he is thankful that God didn’t answer his youthful prayer to give him arms and legs, since God has used his lack of limbs to touch others in a most incredible way.

But enough from me, let’s let Nick share his story through this video interview…

Today, Nick is married, expecting a baby boy, and has a worldwide ministry that has reached millions. God is doing some amazing things through his “life without limbs”.

Nick Vujicic’s outlook of being thankful for the things he does have, rather than angry for the things he doesn’t have, is - in a word…excellent!

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – Carl Jung

How does Nick’s outlook change your perspective on obstacles you’re facing right now?
