Posts with the Most – Top Blog Posts Jun 2013

by Larry Hehn on July 2, 2013

thumbs upThe older I get, the more the months seem to whiz by. Here we are, already halfway through 2013.

How’s it going?

Since life often does seem to go by so fast, I’m thankful for the milestones where we pause, reflect and celebrate.

This week we have Canada’s 146th and America’s 237th birthday to cheer, and of course the June 2013 Posts with the Most!

If you aren’t familiar with the Posts with the Most, this is the monthly feature where I compile and present my favorite blog posts from around the blogosphere for the previous month.

It’s all about matching up some great blogs and bloggers with some great readers. Here are my faves for June 2013, in random order. Enjoy!

  • Cheerios and a Lesson from George WallaceThe Late Arrival‘s Rochelle Fritsch explains why she would rather encounter a blatant racist than one who hides behind a mob, a mask or a pseudonym.
  • Closer to our better selves – Billy Coffey gives a great reason for taking a real vacation every once in a while.
  • God Loves Us Enough to Let Us Suffer – Kevin Haggerty’s post from The Isle of Man reminds us that, even when we are suffering, God loves us and cares about us.
  • The car with the different wheel – Ben Reed’s son saw treasure where most of us would see junk. Click over and see how we could all benefit from the perspective of a 4-year-old.

And now, as always, I’d appreciate your help. There are lots of amazing blogs and bloggers out there that I haven’t met yet. Which ones have I missed?

What were your favorite blog posts from June 2013?

Loved ’em all. Thanks, Larry – my month would not be complete without PWTM day!!

I was particularly touched by this piece, by Dave Hingsburger of “Rolling Around In My Head” (He also wrote a STUNNING post/message to my graduating class from Loyalist College, which touched us all deeply)

There’s a reason why Dave has won all those Canadian Blog Awards. Thanks, Liz!
